In reply to rgharper’s post on November 25, When I put the sd card in, I do not hear any noise. There should be an option to update driver, you could give that a try.
Scroll down until you find “Plug and Play” in the list. Then I went to my system folder in control Panel went to device manager and uninstalled the SD card Reader and rebooted my computer.
